Registration
How do I register for an event?
Visit the website and complete the online registration form. If you have any queries call our Customer Support Team on 01772 767704.

Where possible, please pay your attendance fee when you make your booking. We shall send you a confirmation email of your booking along with an invoice and payment receipt (if applicable).

Discounted package bookings - if applicable (i.e. attendance at an event taking place over two or more days) are strictly made on the basis of one-named delegate per conference booking for the duration of the event.

The MHRA cannot confirm your place at the event until payment is received. The MHRA may refuse entry/access to the event for delegates who have not made payment in full.

Public Sector Organisations Only: Purchase Order Numbers
You will need to provide a purchase order number when filling in the registration form if, due to your Organisation's processes, the credit/debit card method of payment is not feasible within the MHRA payment terms. Please note your place is not guaranteed or held for you when paying this way and it could mean you lose the chance to register if payment does not reach us before the event sells out.

When will I receive confirmation that I am registered?
You will receive a confirmation via email within 15 minutes of receipt of your registration. Please remember to check your spam/junk folder if you do not receive this.

What does the registration fee include?
Your registration fee includes attendance at the event with access to event sessions:

  • Attendance to full ‘event’ program
  • Online access to presentations following the event (if applicable)


What is your cancellation & substitution policy?
Substitutions are acceptable at any time, at no extra charge but must be sent in advance in writing to mhrasymposia@glasgows.co.uk.

Alterations to discounted package bookings are acceptable but any adjustment in cost from discounted to standard fees must be approved and accepted before the alteration is confirmed.

Notice of cancellation received in writing more than 21 days prior to the event will be issued a refund of their registration fee minus a £50.00 + VAT cancellation charge.

Cancellations received 21 days or less prior to the event will not receive a refund.

Postponement or Cancellation of event by the MHRA
Should the event be postponed for any reason you will be entitled to receive a full refund in respect of the registration fees unless force majeure applies.

The MHRA will not be liable to you for any costs or losses you incur as a result of postponement or cancellation.

The programme seems to have changed from the time I booked. Can I get a refund?
We put our programmes together through extensive and on-going research in order to offer you the most up-to-date and relevant programme we can. We recruit speakers dependent on that programme. This does mean that our programmes may change and evolve over the duration of our campaign. Other times it may be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances to alter the programme, venue and speakers and the MHRA reserves the right to do so. Regrettably this means that no refunds can be issued inline with our cancellation policy.

Who do I contact if I am experiencing technical difficulties with the website?
If you are experiencing technical difficulties with the website or online registration form, please contact Glasgows on 01772 767704. The team will be able to assist you.

Where do I view the virtual event?
Once registered you will be provided with a password to access the virtual hub where the event will be live streamed. You will be able to test your connection and check you can view the live stream player inside the virtual hub (see your “Delegate Details” confirmation email for more information).

During the Event
Will I be able to ask questions during the virtual event?
During the live event there will be a questions box available beneath the live stream player where you can type and submit questions throughout the event. We cannot guarantee that all questions will be addressed during the live event.

Are all presentations available after the event?
Presentations will be available to attendees in the virtual hub within 14 days of the event taking place. The distribution of presentation materials is subject to the speakers' permission.
